Nice folks. The green Freightliner is pretty cool, he really did a nice job on the conversion.
I gasped when he told me how much it costs to maintain the Benz engine though. Fuel filters are $150!

I seen a couple youtube vids on that green bus. It's my wife's favorite build.

No ones ever caught RYO's 50/50 before, at least that I can remember! Nice!
Its definitely the Roll Your Own #1. RYO #2 will be our next bus.

In Holland most folks roll theirs 50/50.

Much hear say> The owner of the bus told me he has to pay a buck fifty for fuel filters.
I'd not shopped for one, but he was just talking about how he'd totally gone through most of the engine and that while he liked it, it had a few annoyances but was reliable and powerful enough. The injectors are, ACCORDING TO HIM, a pain in the arse. He says other than it being inordinately expensive for parts its a good engine.

Yeah I figured out it was yours after I posted. Got that raised-roof-with-no-windows thing going on, doncha know.

I'm looking forward to the day when I get to meet some of you guys down there!
