Laundry

Thinking full-time or at the very least, long trips -- many months at a time...

How do you guys deal with laundry? I know it sounds like a stupid question but there it is.

I am thinking cold water washing wherever and whenever I can and a clothesline off the bus to dry. I'll mostly be following the sun.

I’ve been thinking the very same thing. I think what I’ll do is use a bucket and try to limit my boondock washing to urgent circumstances, opting to carry more clothes and doing laundry in town on a “reset” day.

I'm into my NEW freight damaged (I fixed ding around control panel) 110v Panda 110v dryer for $60
I know I can dry over 15 3XL t-shirts in it.. I've got 3 pairs of overalls, a big bath towel, pair of boxers, and 3 pairs of socks in it at this moment
Panda-3-5-cu-ft-Compact-Portable-Laundry-Dryer-White-PAN60SF/304851035

I'm into my LG Front load washer for $60 used 2 years when I picked it up off Craigslist, with pedestal.
Lady's Grandmother came to visit, used wrong soap while granddaughter was away... Flooded everything, thought she'd ruined it called up the appliance store and had a new matching set delivered, and old set placed on carport.

So, I'm all in at $120.00, use them almost daily... hooked to shore power

After 3 years, the dryer drum belt gave it up... $15 from Amazon and good to go!

I have one of those panda driers too. I wasn't expecting much from it, but it completely dries a full load from my washing machine (which is 4 cu ft) in about 45 minutes, as long as it's vented. Plenty good enough for me. Got it on Craigslist for $75 (or maybe $100).

awesome!
they're worth every penny even at full price, because of the 110 volt.
The way I beat on mine, constitutes abuse and it just keeps right on ticking
