Named and moved on to our bus! Made it to the Oregon coast.
We moved on to our bus[emoji2] July 1st. Headed out from Idaho and made it to Port Orford yesterday. Thanks to the Skoolie who honked and waved it made us feel welcome. I have no idea who they were but it was nice to see. Is any one out this way? We would love to meet up with another bus. And we plan on settling in Oregon so any info would be great.

After thought! Forgot to tell the name of our bus. Aborli we named it by taking2 letters of each grand child's name and made up a word that sounded nice. Our bus is silver on the roof with a rack. And black with red blue and silver pin strips and red stars under the drivers window. I will post pictures as soon as I find free wifi and power. My phone is too weak to post on the road.

HEY! Do you have any advice on travel to Oregon? We are moving to Waldport on the 1st of September and would like to avoid any steep grades, bad roads, etc. We don't have a jake-brake (no time to get one installed), and want to be as safe as possible.
We are coming from Colorado. Here is the map that I've made for our trip. We are going to take it slow, only 5-6 hrs of driving per day. https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?m...2Y&usp=sharing

You don't need a Jake brake. Just take it slow on the downgrades. When I go down a hill, I apply brakes at 35mph until I drop to 25mph then let go. Don't drive like maniac going downhill and you won't have a problem.

Excellent Idea to name my bus, I wanted to name it after my first and only grand child, but my wife told me not to because there are more coming, now we have a second one and I guess the name of the bus will be changing as new grand childs come.

It's been over a YEAR!! We lived on our bus a total of 6 months. Started a blog Aborli.com met about 3 other bus couples became good friends one. The pickle relish bus lol great couple. Moved to an Apartment in Rogue River Oregon and we sick of that already. So back to Aborli we will go. If any one knows of bus friendly places in Rogue valley let me know. It's been over crowded around grants pass oregon area.
