Parking for the night in Nashville?

Hello, We’re currently stuck in Nashville getting repairs done on our bus as we head west and might need a place to park overnight. Out destination for today was supposed to be a Harvest Host in Jackson, TN but it seems as if the repairs might keep us here too late to feel comfortable driving another few hours. We’re in a 24ft international. Instagram @a_bus_named_sue. Any tips greatly appreciated.

https://freecampsites.net/ lists a city park and a Cracker Barrel as places that allow overnight parking.

It heavily depends on you're at in the city though. Nashville is a pretty big place. Check Walmarts, Cabelas, truck stops, etc. There's plenty of options in places like that.

Now it would be a different story if you were one of the folks that come on here asking about free parking in downtown LA while they work on their build at the same time

I wouldn't stay at a Cracker Barrel ... too much risk that you'd end up eating there.

Cracker Barrel is hit and miss but when they're on they're on. We had thanksgiving dinner there last year with some other bus friends and they were ON that day.

Cool

I’m aware of all the normal free spots to check. Was looking more for someone in the Skoolie community. Thanks though!

I could go for some chicken fried steak...
