Any Skoolies attend the big Q event in Jan?

We will be near there coming from Parker AZ after a stay at Buckskin Mtn SP.

not this winter, but if things go as planned should be there next winter, hoping to spend winters in the warm weather, and try some Quartzsite boon docking, I wonder how many skoolies will be there?(ones that are not on this site)

That's a couple hours west of me. I may make it out there depending on the work schedule. I'm in Mesa.

PM me sooner to the date.

So... that makes me wonder? Are there any just skoolie events? I haven't even thought to look for any. I can't think of much that would be more fun than 1500 skoolies taking over a town for a week.

We will be at Buckskin Mountain SP (AZ) until Jan 7th '16. Then will head over to Q. There's a gem show that my S.O. is dying to see that goes until March at Desert Gardens RV Park and show grounds. We will stay somewhere in the area for at least a night. The actual RV gathering is the week after but there's always RV/buses around, we will look for Skoolies.

Lots of room out there for boon docking!

Prepping to travel on Monday. Most likely stay at Scadden Wash area in Q beginning 1-7 for 1 or 2 nights.

Water tanks filled, water heater heating, fridge on, ice cubes being made.

Looks like rain in Q and the area.

just rolled in for the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous - great spot, nice people. Heard about this gathering on YouTube - they have daily seminars on mobile living, how-to's, etc. Pretty sool so far. Gonna have to slip around and see what else the area has to offer.

Enjoy Dred!

We went to Q on Tuesday instead of sitting inside the bus in the rain. Mary got all she wanted jewelry wise and we just got home.

Wed the 6th was pretty nice so we stayed at camp, hiked a bit, played on the beach and such.

400 plus miles w/o any bus trouble, loved it.
