Ragbrai 2004 (July 25-31)

Ragbrai starts in just 4 days. That means if you take a trip from east to west across Iowa you will probably see a whole lot of skoolies.

http://www.ragbrai.org/

I will be meeting up with them on Wednsday July 28th in Marshalltown to take a bunch of pictures of the support vehicles (skoolies).

Check out our Ragbrai bus list

i wish i could make it. With burningman so close i just don't think i'll have the opportunity to go. it's 600 miles one way to iowa. It would be cool to hang out with lots of other skoolie nuts

On Tuesday my roommate went up to Fort Dodge for Ragbrai and said there was buses all over the place.

Tonight I am going to go over to Marshalltown and take as many pictures and talk to as many people as I can.

I just got back from Ragbrai 2004, there was probably about 200 skoole buses running around, here are 45 pictures of them I took. It was very hard to get pictures of many of them because they were running around all over the place.

The spiral staircase going to the upper deck on #35 (Team Dawg) was very cool! Some of them had excellent paint jobs. Someone put some serious time into them for sure!

There was a bus with a professional paint with clear coat the most intricate flames I have seen on a bus but I wasn't able to catch it on camera.

This bus with the triple wide porta potty on the back was pretty cool. Notice the lights have been taken off the bus and put onto the porta potty.
