P.S. a T-444E can HAUL ASS when you crank up the smoke.. ran 65 up the Jellico mountain and still kept the EGT under 1250

the wind is blowing cold today here at home. the
South Beach destination sign makes me jelly.

turning up the hp the AFC on my p-pump cummins was well worth it. it just makes cruising easier when you don't have that gut wrenching feeling you're the slowest onthe road.

i can merge and accelerate better. i climb hills better. less downshifting, and when it does, there is tons of power to accelerate back up.

the AFC mod says it adds 20-30hp. i started with a 190, hoping its a 220 now.

it didnt speed it the bus up any mphs, it just made it drive better.

Good to hear Turf. And I am guessing your mpg's either didn't get hurt or may have even improved a bit.

I only sped up on the hills.. mny bus already could theoretically go faster than id ever drive it mathematically.. my MPGs went up a bit as now i dont downshift to scream-gear on every slight incline...

im turned up to the max safe amount on mine.. and i cant see a reason to need more.. since its an older engine, it remains to be seen if i blow it up as a result of turning things up... power-adding to old engines is sometimes a recipe for disaster as the metal components have gotten broken in and well used in the current parameters .. RPM is the worst which i didnt do.. but fuel-adding does cause parts to stress differently than they did before..

Sounds to me like the perfect "efficiency" tune Cadillac!
I am always pleased to hear of such results...especially when the mpgs get better!
