Heading out of Quartzsite today, had a blast! Five buses stayed the whole time and we did lots of crafting. We're Yuma-bound!

Skooliepalooza
Hi All,
Noticed it's been inactive here for a bit. I'm excited to attend Skooliepalooza in 2018 -- it will be my first skoolie-oriented gathering after having traveled in and worked out of my converted bus the last 5 years. I work in food, and though my tribe is LARGE in the food world, I don't know any people in the converted bus world.
Flipping my bus has been a huge obsession of mine over the years, and I know I still have a lot to learn, so I'm thrilled to build a tribe centered around these interests of mine.
My name is Tara and I run a business called Fermentation on Wheels ( Fermentation on Wheels / Community-Minded Fermentation Education). I travel with my gray panther-like cat, Franklin. Fermentation and sustainable lifestyle are my passions and I fold my skoolie-ness into these passions.
With that, I'd love to share my skills in fermentation and sustainable food-processing with others at this gathering. I'm looking forward to learning from others too.
This seemed like an easier platform to say "hi" than on the Facebook page... so I went for it. I'll do a more abbreviated hi on the FB too.
Below is a shot of the interior of my bus! See you soon!

Nice bus setup. I like how you've got those carboy jugs nestled in their own shelf. I was a bewer, but not since getting onboard a bus.
Welcome

Read thread date, this is from 2016. Last post was 2019.
Directly from another member organizing a gathering for 2021...
"The Swarm is in the Ocala National Forest from February 21, 2021 through March 1, 2021. It costs $20.00 per night ($120.00 for the week). Just an FYI. You will need to join the Facebook Skoolie Swarm group and click on "going" in the events. Then you can message Michelle for any further information involving the Swarm."

thanks cheese wagon
I've been busy raising 5 kids and building a business, now it's time to have some fun. I'd say I'm a bit rusty on the forums but it's more of honest thing to say never been there and need to learn from scratch. The Ocala rendezvous looks interesting.

Note: Skooliepalooza is not Skoolie Swarm. Each have their own facebook pages.
Skoolie Swarm will be held February 21, 2021 through March 1, 2021. It will be held in the Ocala National Forest, near Ocala. FL.
Skooliepalooza will be held February 1, 2021 through February 10th, 2021. It will be held in Ehrenburg, AZ.
