Texas Parks & Wildlife

I thought this was handy especially when you specifically want a public park with sewer or just w/e hookups
state Parks grouped by campsite amenities offered
Campsites with Sewer, Electric, & Water Hookups
Campsites with Electric & Water Hookups
Campsites with Water Hookups
Drive-up Campsites with No Hookups

Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi) at State Parks

Texas Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) that allow camping. If you are not into hunting, you will want to avoid these areas during hunting seasons. Otherwise they are often a low price camping experience. ENTRY IS BY PERMIT ($12 for LPU). So it is a $12 boondocking site. More detailed info/reviews on individual WMAs can be found at freecampsites.net

Re: Texas Parks & Wildlife

There is also a $3 charge per person per day entry fee. A vehicle pass is $65/year and it covers the entry fees for all passengers. I'm not sure if this includes RVs, but there are parks all over Texas and they are a good place to camp and fishing in the parks does not require a license. Most parks have facilities for waste dump and water fill for RVs.
