I have a breakaway system for my Jeep, but no service brakes. A 3k# Jeep is kind of nothing compared to the bus.

Thanks for posting those links. I wasn't aware that Utah "Requires any vehicle combination to stop in 40 feet at 20 mph."


My trailers have brakes and I use them... but next time I'm out with a fully laden trailer I'll be interested to test against that stopping distance.
