Not the one that you are thinking about, the one south of Salt Lake City. Had a bad leak in the water pump, so I am getting professional help (I have been told I needed it) in replacing the ginormous pump.
They said two hours, and then I am on my way to the Salt Flats
On a lighter note, some swell pics taken on the way into my latest troubles........
This is the San Rafael Swell
The Interstate runs right thru it - notice the semi, giving it some scale.
And an awesome Mexican joint I have eaten at a couple times in Orem - Beto's - they have a 4-pound burrito for $5

Spent a couple days in eastern Oregon, nice quiet hillside spot where I could do some repairs.

now I am in Washington.
Anyone recognize this bridge?
or these ducks?

I am getting pretty good at sniffing out BLM(look for that video soon), and lack of people. Most of the time, I also try and be "out there" during the week when most others are at work, and roll back into town for supplies when folks are going out in the woods.
That is also how I like it - wind, birds, deer, elk, and rain - perfect "noise"

3 years was an initial projection for how long I could travel in a bus, sans mortgage/rent, utilities, etc., with what I had in the bank. So far, even with the crazy spending(toys/gadgets/electronics) I am still on track for 3 years. I am looking at a sailboat also, and I do miss working, so who knows how long it will last, but so far I am having the time of my life.

I figured, and glad to hear that it was not something sinister like a terminal illness.
Well there isn't saying you can't stop and work along the way. I have been watching a lot of sailing channels, as that was the very first idea we had for tiny living and I have been looking for inspiration. One of the things I see with a lot of them is that 2-3 year projection of traveling before depleting funds, then getting a paying gig stockpiling for a bit and heading out again. The SV Delos sailing channel on youtube had an 8 part clip series of a chat they did in Copenhagen, after I watched it I thought sounds kind of like what I would do. A good boat aint cheap (and a cheap boat will take a lot of work) and makes our skoolie projects seem super simple.
Any who been enjoying the videos keep them coming as they are definitely worth watching. I would ask if you develop any tips on finding camping to please share.
