08 E350 Turtletop Vanterra

Hey guys! Been lurking and finally made an account to post with. I wanted to see if anyone had experience with the Turtletop Vanterra shuttle buses? Im buying an 08 with 47k miles. Pretty much perfect condition aside from the underfloor frame have some steel tubing rusted through. Not a big deal as I have a shop and welder. I’d love to see others builds on the same platform! Any advice and opinions are welcome. Thanks guys

hey vanman, not up on shuttles but sounds like your off to a good start with the year & the low mileage ( idle hours? )

the best thing about a conversion is you can do whatever ya like!
simple or complicated.

i kept mine simple, light & dry and and was camping quickly!
i see complicated conversions everywhere but they never seem to finish?

the only thing i suggest is to keep in mind motor size & strength for tanks, towing, gas mileage, etc when pondering on your build.

run the vin and you can get a lot of good OEM specs on weight limits for your chassis.
