Indeed! How 'bout that: a Dodge/Wayne skoolie bus named Linda. 😀
I named mine the Spirit of Linda Lee after my late partner. She's the one who came up with the name Skunky Bus.
She was really impressed by the news story about the Wayne Lifeguard that stayed in one piece after being broadsided by a fire truck.
More on my bus here.
You've got a cool little bus! Looking forward to seeing more of it!

Great platform to build on! Vintage enough to have lots of coolness...new enough that most parts should be possible to find.
Just be very, very careful with those curved back windows.

I've preemptively looked for the glass just in case and have come up empty handed. I wonder if anyone out there is capable of custom making these. It's a miracle they are still intact. Most bus bodies I have run across have this glass shattered or long gone... I almost want some louvres to cover them up like on a 70s boogie van

There are custom auto glass works that can fab just about anything.
But...if you gotta ask the price...
Ya...they are beautiful, but I would be tempted to create some kind of protective covers as well. Some heavy gauge, crinkled wire mesh covers might look pretty good. Especially if chromed! And would probably cost less than custom glass.

This is not only an amazing find but a great project.
A question, I have a race truck using a 1964 D400 Chassis and I am having a hard time sourcing brake shoes for it. 15x4 Rear Shoes...
Any ideas from anyone?

life happens.. sometimes projects get sold and no one ever comes back to update the thread.. ive been guily of it on various hot rod forums where i started a build and then sold it at some point and never came back to update.. the DEV bus is one of the Longest ive ever kept any project.. I usually only keep them a couple years then go build something else..

That’s a short shorty, but I’d gladly start over with that one if I had the chance

What a gorgeous bus, my man! Got a very muppet-esque vibe, I dig it.
Guess we're neighbors, just up in Lynnwood.
