I'm looking at pulling my rear A/C,also. The compressor is bypassed under the hood with an idler pulley and the lines to the port side condenser coils are cut. I figure I'd be better off just removing it, but think it may be nice to have A/C in the cockpit, which would mean a new compressor. . . . Decisions, decisions.
I think that the space gained will overcome the desire to be cool. It'll have a rooftop unit, eventually.

All my Eldorado wiring was color coded and the wires marked with some non-obvious labels.
If you e-mail your VIN to Eldorado they will send you wiring diagrams for your particular bus.

I'll email them for the diagram. Going to need it moving forward. I stumble through it. Not all matched up but was able to get it working. I'm going to the junk yard tomorrow to get some dash trim I need. Also need a cup holder for the dog house, like the one you have Roach.

If it was a Champion, there'd be 4 lbs of spray foam in there(and not attached.)
Damn! Great find on the cup holder. I'm embarrassed-I looked all over for for a cup holder for the top of the dog house -there make them for every year BUT 95-96. I didn't think to look if there was a stock one.

I found a few of them in the yard. Think I'm going to go back and grab a dog house that was in better shape then mine.

We had that problem on all three of our vehicles last year. I feel your pain.

Sounds like it might have something to do with the master cylinder. Everything built since about 1967 or so uses a dual pot master and front/rear split system so the likelihood of all four wheels going south at once is pretty remote. But if at the master...that's another story. Good luck with it. I really like having brakes on a bus.

Just because you lose 1/2 of your braking axles, it doesn't mean your pedal goes down just 50% more. They go just about the whole way down-worse if you had a long pedal (due to wear or shoes too far away from the drums) to begin with.
Up here in the northeast, rusted brake lines are a very normal occurace.

Pretty common even here in the southeast too!
Our motorhome just had new lines installed after one blew out moving it around the property.
