1998 Carpenter Cadet 25' with GMC 6.5L diesel

Just got this bus a couple of weeks ago. We finally got back to it today and got all but four of the "kid" seats out. Unlike a lot of others I've read about, I'm keeping the wheelchair lift and actually increasing the number of wheelchair tie downs from the current two to four (possibly five). Next step is to get her repainted, titled here in Indiana and tagged. Upcoming items to research and add are: inverter to run a frig while on the road; cruise control; window tinting in and around the driver area.

I plan on using her (1) to cart wheelchair bound kids around; (2) as a camper; (3) as a band bus; (4) as a wheelchair ramp building bus.

The number of uses for a bus is unlimited.
I think everybody should have one...

Finished painting the top of the bus. The Behr paint & primer in one seems to do the job in one coat, as advertised. Now to paint the rest - a couple more windows and the mirrors have to be taped. Excellent weather for painting - with these 100 degree days in Indiana, I truly get a "baked on" finish.
I have a couple pictures but I can't seem to upload them - it says "upload quota filled" or something like that. Anyway, I'll post them on facebook - find me at Jim Burleson.
