Thanks Cowlitz.
These 1000s have ballast weights behind the rear axle.
I have added nothing to the front of any consequence. In the rear I have added 4 group 31s (300 lb.) and 40 gal. water (300+)and an Onan 4KW (217)w/10 gal. gas (60 lb.). I have removed the 300 (or so) lb. WC lift. To avoid LIGHTENING the front axle too much I have also removed 1 ballast from the rear. The front is higher than when I 1st got it, enough to see it without measuring.
I selected this design because of the 19.5 tires.
"Those little tires can't carry as much weight as any 22.5" tire. " True but...
Our bus has 265/75/19.5 tires and they are rated at about 3415 lb. single.
A typical MH sized 225/70/22.5 is rated at about 3640 single.
As a "usetabe" bus driver This BB handles beautifully.
I plan to weigh her when I get to a scale, there's nothing near us out here in the AZ boondocks!
