2003 chevy express 3500/ Bluebird

I've been searching for the right Schoolie for months. Reaching a critical moment where I need something relatively soon. 2003 chevy express 3500/ Bluebird With a 6.0L Vortex with 182,000 miles partially built out with insulated floors and a bed. Also foam cieling insulation added professionally. I was hoping to get a deisel and possibly run biodiesel but for $4000 this is the most reasonable rig I've come across for my particular situation of needing to build something out quick to live in. I am not too knowledgeable with mechanics besides the months of researching diesel engines and the excellent advice I've received here..

Just looking for a little insight on this here Schoolie. Will be sometimes stationary sometimes traveling just me and my dog simple build. Good deal? Gas an okay way to go? Most seem to go with diesel.. I everything is personal preference to a point but any insight is appreciated !

6.0 chevy gas are great
cheaper to work on and ALOT cheaper to replace then a diesel duramax
