Sorry to hear about the issue getting the lift removed. Me and a couple of buddies were able to get mine out of the bus then I was able to sell it on Facebook Marketplace. When you say cables through the floor do you mean the positive and ground cables that originally connected to the lift to power it? I kept these through the floor as well and integrated them into my electrical panel for a couple of reasons.
1. If for some reason my LiFePO4 house battery is drained or fails I could connect the Aux battery and starting battery for emergency power.
2. If my Aux battery and starting are dead I could change the profile of my charge controller to charge these batteries (obviously a jump pack would be easier)
I've attached a crude diagram of my electrical system and some pictures to show where the positive for the starting and aux battery comes into the electrical system
I'm curious if others have done something similar.
