3J's build

We just bought a 1996 Thomas Vista 7 window. I have taken the seats out, and hope to get it tagged and titled tomorrow. I found some flooring today also. The wheelchair door gasket is toast. I have to find one. And I think the gasket on the rear escape hatch is bad. It has front and rear engine driven AC, but not blowing cold. Other than that, we are good to go!

Best of luck on your build. Looking forward to following your thread here. Thomas bus Co in North Carolina has a parts Dept and should have the parts you need.
Just my 2¢

Thanks! I think I will replace the back door gasket also while I'm at it. Spent 2 hrs with a nice lady at the tag office while I patiently waited for her to figure out how to give me my tag and title. She had never done a bus and was impressed that we are turning it into an rv so we can road school. Found some time to lay the subfloor. I'll grab some screws tomorrow and hopefully start laying the flooring. Going to buy a jacknife sofa locally that I found also. Friday my 60 inch rails show up so I need to design my slide out kitchen. I'm juggling a bunch of projects along with this and only have 1-3 weeks before I head offshore again. I have a few odd ideas that I will try as we go.

Awesome! I also got a 7 window bus and you can have a shower, full size bed, bathroom, full kitchen and more if you plan it right.

I was able to screw down most of the subfloor this afternoon. I hope to grab these in the morning to use as the outer perimeter for the raised bed in the back. All oak and dovetailed joints!

What a long day. Out the door before 6 to beat the crowd at a yard sale. We have the bed mocked up along with the kitchen, composting toilet, sofa, and end tables. And lots of Corian countertop for it all with an underhung sink and a fancy faucet. We decided to have an open floorplan, with 2 curtains for privacy in the bathroom area. The only thing that will have to wait is overhead cabinets.

I got called to work so I have to take a break from the project. I've been pulling decals. Found a deal today on a new entry door and electric awning arms

Finally getting back on the bus. Painted the kitchen cabinets. Taking a break from the heat. We laid half the floor this morning. I'll post some pics later

Progress! Floor is laid, cabinets are coming along nicely, installed the roof the roof AC yesterday in the fwd escape hatch patched hole, and the wife picked out curtains. I think the camera in my phone is getting blurry.
