see, look at it like this.....

you HAVE a shop to clean!

Right now, I can walk two doors down to a couple that moved in over 2 weeks ago, no water, no electric yet. If they had kids, it's be a different story.

But I've watched them, they look healthy enough that I'm not going to interfere.

we're getting heat advisories everyday here.

I agree, setbacks are frustrating... but, I always keep in mind that as bad as things are for me, there's always someone dealing with a lot worse.
And it helps me get through this day, and ready to greet the next one

Milkmania, I have a shop because I worked my ass off all my life and never settled for second best. I was born with nothing and have done the best I could do with what I didn't have. I have in the past and will in the future continue to help "those with no feet" but I will never feel the need to accept second rate anything just because I may have more than many others. I am glad your philosophy of life suits your needs, but it is not a philosophy I can ascribe to. Jack

And I respect you for that.
Also I've seen your work, and you are talented.

now, now ladies...here

No hard feelings were ment I am sure...I make those comments all the time; especially last night watching a couple looking for their own island...budget was only 23,000,000.00

I will have a shop one day, I still have both cheeks to work off first

And is the motorcycle trailer for pulling 2 down so you guys have a place for company to sleep? If so I will bring + + =

Totally Mostly Off Topic...

But...since I am STILL on hold for parts from the sheetmetal shop, I managed to get a little side project closer to completion.

Meet Houston's REHAB Bar BBQ Baja Bug...

Hey...at least this way I can keep my jury rigging...er...fabricating skills warmed up! And who knows...maybe it will inspire someone here to make some similar mods to their bus.

Dude! Someone stole the Baja engine! And the gas cap should be inside the luggage compartment, not behind the fender.

I'll bet $6.00 won't fill up one of those bugs like it did in 1970, taxes included.

BTW...the chrome Harley pipes on the roof are functional. When this rig is set up in the "Smoker" mode, they will vent the excess smoke from the front seat area. In "BBQ" mode...they are just for fun.

The front "smoker" area won't ever get very hot so the side windows and windshield will be fine based on prior experience. The back will see the most heat so all the glass back there was replaced with stainless (donated...or it would have been something a lot cheaper).

I don't hear the Canadians chiming in here yet. Its legal there to eat dog. It just has to be butchered in front of a govt inspector - something like that and it has to be labeled as such when served. IOW, you can't serve it as something else.

O.k. I only bring this up since the discussion of bbq came up. My brother tried some unknowingly in Chicago. He said it was tasty. My wife and I avoid smoked meat since her cancer battle. We used to have a smoker for chicken, turkey, pork, and fish. We loved it!
Hopefully the interior paint and upholstry glue won't "cook" off and be carcinogenic (if that is the right word).
Love the look of that grill for sure!

Any one tries to eat my dog, I will hack them up with a machete.

Unless it's the last Christmas dinner after the apocalypses.
