We were thinking the insulation should be good enough to just run a little portable heater for a little bit before we go to bed, and our body heat should keep it rather warm through the night. After all its a small 4 window with 2 adults and 3 kids in it. My wife is going to he making insulating curtains for the windows and one for between the drivers area and living quarters. I want to do a full on build but my wife wants to do a very minimalistic one, so we will probably end up with something in between.

Ya. I have a friend who is going to fab us a roof rack to keep the spare, high lift jack, shovels etc. All the top flashers are going to be removed and fiberglassed smooth. I have an rv storage door that is going on the passenger side, then we will build a box under the bus. And were still debating on if we want to keep the skoolie doors or frame in an insulated rv door. Then the whole thing is being sprayed in a tan/sand colored bedliner.

You know how much a wheel and tire weighs, right?
You might want it lower down, just for practical reasons

A hand crank winch is being built into the rack to lift and lower the spare. Already thought about that. Good lookin out though.

I’m with the rest of the folks. It was extremely easy to apply. Like anything of the sort it’s all in the prep as far as labor goes. Spraying it was a breeze and after a couple of months it’s still looking great. The biggest issue I was hearing from the inexperienced before I did it was how difficult it was going to be to clean and keep clean, which has been false. It’s been very easy to maintain. We spend a lot of time off pavement and I’ve never even so much as had to use a brush on it at the wash. Just spray it off and go. Highly recommend it.

Well thats good news. I was going to spray my truck if i liked it on the bus. How many cans did it take to do your van? I was thinking 2 - 8 pack kits should give me decent coverage on the bus.

I'm curious as to how you handled the floor. I have the exact same bus in a 6 window and was surprised to find the corrugated flooring. My rubber mat was glued down to boot so all the plywood is sticky as all getout.
