'82 GMC Minibird. What is the cylinder tank bolted to f

I want to install a RV holding tank under the bus body but there is a large cylinder tank bolted to the frame. What is this tank? It has vacuum lines connected that run to the back of the 6.2 diesel engine. Can I remove the tank or replace it with something smaller elswhere on the frame?

Thanks for any help!

Ron

Sounds like a air tank for maybe your air brakes?
