I found this little thing the other day on marketplace. It has regulators on it. It is full of propane. Now I need to find mounting brackets or have them made. This is a bottom mount tank. I needed frame mount which I have been looking a long time for with no success.

I dug out the right wheel well molding. This is the panel I have been dreading. It is broken and delaminated pretty bad.

Time for an update. That right rear wheel well flair is about done. What I hope is the last round putty has been applied. Just needs sanded smooth.

The grille came back from getting modified for front turn signals. That turned into a hair pulling game. The shop lost his person that welds. He set on the grille for a week before I found out. I went and grabbed the grille and took it over to a place I have worked with before. They did an excellent job on welding. I took it back for power coat. What should have been a one-week job turned into almost three.

I'll rewire the turn signals tomorrow. Then the bus goes to that same shop to get some sand blasting done on the side body.

Now in case you have been wondering why I have not worked on the front grille shell. That is an easily removed part. This winter when the bus goes back to a storage compound. I will bring that back to the garage and work on it during the winter. I plan to remove the left side glass panels before moving to storage. I will be working on them also.

That was Wednesday I brought it back home. Thursday I wasn't able to work on it. The last two days. I have been sanding and using fairing compound on the spots that needed it. There was some corrosion holes and ground off pop rivets from factory assembly that needed filled. I need to sand to 220 grit for the primer. Now I have gotten it to 80-grit. In the pic you can see the fairing compound I applied yesterday. I'll sand that off. then go for the 220-grit sanding. I hope to have this side in primer Tuesday. The outer part of the door opening needs cleaned up, resealed. Then sanded to 220-grit. The inner part and the doors. I haven't decided on what I am going to do with the doors, Yet.

One thing I didn't mention there were 26 steel stand offs for signage mounting. That shop also delt with them. They are gone now. Thats why you see some much fairing compound on that side. The other side won't have near that much.

Right side is in primer now. The repair work on both front corners is in primer. I didn't get a pic of the left front corner.

I also got the long right side lower panels primed. I didn't get the wheel wells arches done. I'll get those when I prime the left side of the bus.

The right front wheel well arch also got primer. That one is going to need some rework. For some reason the inside of the wheel well fish eyed. So that will need a complete sand out and redo. The outside of the arch is good. Got one small area that needs a little more effort done to it.

Thats one thing about primer it shows where my fingers said it was good.

Well, this is a hard post to make. Sadly, this project is as far as I can take it.
I had to meet with a couple of different doctors this last week and more this coming week. The news they gave me was not good in any way, shape or form. I am not going to get into full blown details. I can say my future health will not support the effort I need to finish the bus. I still have the sprinter van I built out 4 years ago. The wife and I will start traveling in it again.

Hi there. I have been away from the site and my project for a bit. Back up at it again. I started reading your posts and found your build to be quite unique and your talents quite high. I am so sorry to hear of your health news. Your build has inspired me and for that i am grateful. I do not know you, per se, but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you strength and peace in your travels. May God Bless and protect you.
