97 E350 20 Pass Bus Conversion
Hey All, Heres some pics of my shuttle bus conversion I've been workin on for 4 years. My buddy and I bought 2 of these for $3200 from a repo company. Sold the seats in both for $700. So total price was $1250 per shuttle. Both are diesel and will be converted to run waste vegi. Mine sat in storage for 3 years before I had the time and $ to get the project started. Now I've been gettin weekends in to work on it. It's come along way since I bought it. Ckeck it out

I'd end up killing myself stepping over the wheel well every time I had to use the bathroom...

It's a hazzard. But I wanted the queen sized bed. It's a small price to pay to take a pee. Here some more photos.

I like it... A little rough around the edges, but that can be dealt with after it's functional... A little trim here, a little trim there...

You got it. Got to get it functional. Then the finishing touches. Tomorrow the solar unit goes on. Then it's off to the State Patrol for an inspection. If all goes well, it will Officialy be an RV

Re: 97 E350 20 Pass Bus Conversion
Need to answer a couple questions. First my buddy didnt remove his bus from the storage we had it in. The storage owner and the land owner had a falling out and I went down there witha tow truck and got mine out of there. My buddy decided it wasnt important as something else he had to do that day and now the land owner is holding it randsom. The plumbing I kept all in the back of the bus. Flojet on demand pump. I put it under the sink. Ran a line inside to the toilet. The other straight up to the sink. I have the fresh water inside the bus also.

Re: 97 E350 20 Pass Bus Conversion
Been a while since I've made some improvements. Found a video on Youtube that changed everything for me. A faster, lighter, easier way to make improvements on the bus. I'll leave the link for it. Funny dude and video but has the best idea for making cabinets and such. Here's what I got done today. I built a closet for the bus. Found the door for $5. The metal studs cost me $4 a piece. I used 4 to make it, so a total cost of about $30 including the paneling. Tomorrow is cabinet building.

Love the idea but how strong are those cabinets? Can't imagine they could hold any serious weight, like stacks of books or tools.

Re: 97 E350 20 Pass Bus Conversion
Just got my Title. 5 years after I bought the bus. I know it took a while but it was worth it. The whole process cost about $400 total. Several hours at the dmv and state patrol for inspections and 8 weeks waiting after it all was submitted. Here's a photo of me with my title. Colorado wasn't too bad to get it so if anyone needs advice I can try to help.
