Advice on engine

Hi
I’m looking at bidding on a 1993 ford e350 shuttle bus. In the posting it says it has a 7.5l engine. I’ve tried to research it but not much comes up. Is the 7.5l a good engine? Or is it something to stay away from?

Thanks

That is the 460 big block. they were pretty stout motors and made 245 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque.

The 7.5L ford is a '460' big block ford, and they are very good reliable engines.
The downside is they are very thirsty, 8 mpg is typical. If you drive a lot of miles, it can add up to more expensive. If parked a lot, might not matter much.
