Aye. These particular martini "glasses" came from Erin's grandparents in Houston. They will become an heirloom, I reckon!

I'm jealous. I didn't even know there was such a thing as double pane windows for buses.

Around here you'll only see the double paned windows at the front around the driver. Probably for visibility sake; to keep those particular windows from frosting up. I like them for that reason. The aluminum frames act as a thermal bridge, but they're still better than single pane and they don't fog.

Throw a black reflective film on the bottom and no skinning needed...........there is a very cool product for skinning though.............it comes in various thickness and it It is metal skins that sandwich a composite material..............that when installed doesn't get that wavy look too often seen in "skin" jobs.................cool find..........tint it out and no skinning or curtains required...............

Happy Victoria Day to all you Canadians (sorry, no holiday for you Yankees and Confederates)

We were out at the property with several friends today. Things have since slowed down.. Here are some pictures of us after a late dinner.

New fold down counter space on the back of the murphy bed. We've already put plenty of mileage on it, even though it was only installed this afternoon. That cabinet is also on the back-side of the murphy bed. We use it for towels, wash clothes, underwear, Triscuits... Anything that doesn't care about being flipped on it's head. I also managed to close in the plumbing, water tank and filters.

Where'd all the floor space go??

Haha.. thanks Tango.

To anyone who noticed: yes, all of our dogs are the same colour. No, none of them are related. All pound pups. And I swear we're not dog-racist.. It was just chance that they all ended up matching. We like other coloured dogs, too..

Holy bus & Tango....great responses.

We have 3 dogs also and both responses are right on. They tend to be a little bumpy as rugs but do make wonderful foot and bed warmers.

They look like they could be litter mates they resemble each other so.

This conversation took me down a path I didn't expect. My daughter inlaw has a cowhide rug that is beautiful. Next season, I may ask my son to keep his deer hides for the bus. They would make great area rugs, add color to the grey floor and be a soft alternative to manufactured area rugs.

Got a small deck slapped together the other day!

Best part: it was made from deck scraps leftover from a real sized deck
