If paying someone to do the WVO conversion, that alone could easily run $2K-$3K parts & labor. So given that, I think $5K isn't too high at all. Even doing it yourself could be up to $2K. Spending $2K-$3K on the rest of the conversion is probably a pretty good guess. I haven't added up my expenditures yet, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if I end up spending $5K beyond the original purchase price; and my conversion is not all extravagant at all. It adds up quick!
