Bathroom at wheel arch:offset toilet flange

Well my build is going and the bath walls are laid out. Toilet on the rear end of wheel well, shower on the front end. The bath sink will be over the wheel well.
The bath is 36x 5'6", and I am building the door to swing open into the 21inch hall and latch there if wanted to give a bigger bath feel. The bedroom is the last 8 feet of the bus.

Black water tank behind and directly abutting rear wheel behind mud flap (I will put a metal shield behind mud flap to protect tank).

This bus is 32 feet, harder to lay out then a full size bus I assume. For example the 'longest' free space underneath is 40", so I am using square 36x36 grey and black tanks.

TOILET: see photo, I need to offset "drop" with a offset toilet flange. Is this gonna be a real issue, minor PIA , absolute no no, ...? Anyone have experience with a gravity toilet dropping in an offset flange? (I AM HOPING NOT TO INCREASE WATER USE)They also have a toilet flange with a built in 45[ATTACH][ATTACH][/ATTACH][/ATTACH]

(BTW the rear of the bus has a builtin couch and desk from being a bookmobile, this desk was really not movable so I couldnt get the extra 4 inches I wanted)

SHOWER: see photo, I am trying a washing machine pan for a shower pan for its flexibility, I cut it to bend over the wheelwell and will probably use roofing ice and shield 36inch wide sticky rubber, 2 layers and then caulk the p*** out so it doesnt leak. The pan is 28* 30. This doesnt seem to be an issue like the toilet drop, but any insite would be appreciated![ATTACH][/ATTACH]

I would go with the offset, less chance of anything laying on the "flat floor". Upon closer inspection of enlarged pics, the 2 flanges have different angle exits, which works better for your application? Does the offset one drain straight down where you want it to? If so the other flange would require more parts to get there.

I wouldn't think that offset would be a major problem. It might take more water occasionally to get things cleared.

I'm not a plumbing guy at all. But my dad has owned multiple campers. We were discussing placement of my toilet and tank in my bus. Only problems he's had is one camper that had a almost horizontal run before it went into the black water tank. It would clog easily. So I doubt a little offset would hurt you much since you still have gravity on your side....

I don't have experience with that type of offset but my guess is that it'll be ok.

I do have experience with an 'angled' waste pipe. Second photo in this post (http://jdfinley.com/plumbing-moving-the-liquids/). This is an old photo and things have changed somewhat but you can see the 3" waste pipe that angles down at about a 45 degree angle for 12-18". I have had no problems with this setup and I am pretty frugal with water use.

In my last bus I had an offset flange just like the one you have pictured. I had to use it because I measured incorrectly and my hole in the floor would have interfered with the frame, so I had to use one of those.

I used a regular camper toilet with a drop through the offset directly into my black tank.

I never had an issue over 5 years of actively living in it.

No big deal. I have a short 90 into the black tank and never had an issue. Close to 200 nights of camping so far.

Thanks all, got the hole in the floor and now have to use the 45 because of cross beams. I was worried about "gravity" drop with little water. I feel calm after your comments, thanks
