I think, if it were me, I'd consider some more stylish wheels for it. Looks to be a standard 8-lug 3/4 ton Ford wheel, you should be able to snag some off an F250 and bolt them right on.

I wanted real "whitewalls" for my '46 but never could find any the right size. May have to paint my own.

The right rims and tires can really dress up any rig but they have to be "right" for the vehicle. And what constitutes "right" is mostly a personal call.

Ah, an opinion thread.
Unless the vehicle was built in the 70's or earlier I think raised white lettering looks tacky.

Don't listen to all this negativity.

Get a bucket of white paint and make them whitewalls. It would kind of match your paint job.

I'd paint the wheels purple to match the bus.

I don't like the white letters because it feels like I"m advertising for the manufacturer. Maybe if Goodyear wants to sponsor me I'd do it, but so far I pay full price for my tires.

Don't forget the 1970's skinny red stripe option!

Did you try Coker tires? They came through for me with 2" wide whitewall tires for my 48 Indian Chief.

Coker has some great looking tires but nothing to fit a 19.5 rim.
