looking great-
I like the square tube construction- robust.
I would not recommend sandblasting fiberglass, chemical stripping is really a better idea. Sodablast, maybe?

Thanks rusty.
At $10.00 for a stick of 20ft 16 guage. seemed pretty logical to use.
No sandblasting fiberglass.! got it.!! good thing you told me my dumba$$ most likly would have. luckily my bus is mostly aluminum. & metal. never heard of sodablasting tho.

+1 on the square tubing. Also good choice on the paint. I've been following your thread for awhile and you put so much time into the mechanics, clearly are very skilled in fabricating, definitely a lot of money invested ... I didn't understand why you painted the whole thing black. You'll bake in the sun.

warewolf-you are absolutely right, reason I painted it black was I watched way to many stealth camping build videos on youtube, before the build so for some reason I just felt the need that I had to be stealthy as well I thought it would look more badass black, but after having it for sometime I realized I don't need to be stealthy, & I am burning the hell up inside.
I had plans for solar panels as well so I thought that would absorb a lot of the heat but my dad convinced me against adding solar & going with a generator. I am also dumb a majority of the time I am awake so I have to always learn the hard way.

Talented build so far. I figured you were planning ahead for a cold climate.

I use a generator as well because I find it necessary. If you want to run anything with a motor for more than a short time you need a generator. My girlfriend cooks on a double burner hot plate and I need to charge my wheelchair batteries. Both things we can't really do with a couple solar batteries.
I do plan on adding solar for the simple little things like lighting of our campsite and phone charging but I'll probably just add a small set up.

Eventually i will find myself in very cold climates but majority of the time hot desert.
I do plan on adding a small rooftop a/c unit so it will definetly reqire a gen.
My drain for my shower will require a little frame support modifications, nothing too serious tho.
The heat has me moving at slug speed. I think alot of us are slug racing right now.

SHHHH.. dont tell my dad i took his engine apart, just to inspect the cylinder heads to see how much i could port & polish.
They are pretty pretty good but their are some spots that could be inproved but not enough to make a huge noticable differance. Engine is from his fjr 1300..
Mainly for people who race,
Port the cumbustion chamber.
B.B= bowl blend.
K.E= knife edge.
B=blend.

Funny how it varies.
A guy down the road has EVERY AR-15 related sticker one could bestow upon his vehicle, and his plate reads "4TWENTY".

I requested a custom plate S&W M&P for my truck. The state called and asked what it stood for. I told them it was the gun I shot in competition and the lady said "cool, approved". Welcome to Indiana.

Finally got some tunes.!!
No more talking & singing to myself.
100 pounds for $16. Soon as the heat dies down alittle maybe i will blast & paint soon.
After over 1 year finally got a wiring diagram for $10 on ebay.
Got the drain & trap in just waiting on grey tank in a day or two.
