Picture 3 says it all for ME including your post about can't cut a straight line?
My wife of 20 years used to say BS I can blindfold you with dental floss ? Keep your muck ups close enough the trim(even if you have to make your own?)can cover it.
If you can't understand that?
Then your to mucked up to be using tools anyway?
Safety first!!!

jolly roger- luckily i havent mucked up on anything to serious yet. I would not need much dental floss to blind fold me since my eyes are allways near shut & red as the devils a$$.
Safety first.. dad always says you can spot a joe by his fingers & toes, i still have all of mine.

G for Gardner..!!
I don't have a laser cuter for metal so I do what I can. I started with a printed image, cut it out on cardboard with a razor. spray paint image on work piece & cut.
I tried the dermal first but nope. moved to grinder with cut off wheel.

That's great! Hack in an 'e' of some sort and send it in. You could be Google of the day.

I wanted to take my tube in to have it bent by someone with a bender, BUT my dad being a 20 year ironworker always has to do it his way.
SO we cut a few notches with a chop saw & I welded the sucker up; I suck at welding but decent with a grinder.

I just need to cap the ends paint & weld together.

My makeshift sand blast thunder dome.

I used 3/4 foam boards with a lot foil tape for insulation in the portioning walls.

The young welder at our shop has a saying for the mechanics who think they can weld [he's a pretty good welder].
"A GRINDER AND PAINT FOR THE WELDER YOU AIN'T"

Your bumper turned out good.

The kerf-tubing bend trick was pretty cool.

You are getting to the fun part- starting to look like something.

Holy crap after reading this over again it didn't come out the way it was suppose to,I apologize if this was taken wrong....it was not meant as an insult more of a humorous phrase.

REDD- haha it is all good I knew exactly what you were getting at the first time, I surly am not a welder by any means but I do know the raw basics.. I left the ironworkers business cause I didn't want to get stuck welding for 20years.

Rusty- My dad uses that trick quite a bit, not my favorite way but my dad is very stubborn & hard headed, taking it to a bender was no option.
fun part is here... Im going to have a party when it is done.
Maybe camping, make some popcorn,
call some strippers, get people stoned , maybe drunk,
hide from the police. bang head on cell wall.

Just kidding everyone.. but I will probably have a heart attack when it is done ill be to excited.

I am a decent welder, not the best but it works.
