chevy g30 wayne is too short

i have a 1979 wayne convert chevy short bus. the bus is in great shape and drives great. i would like to use the bus to tow my jeep junk around, the only problem is headroom. i am just 6ft tall but i can't stand up in the bus. i have seen larger buses "roof raised". has anyone seen or done a short bus? pics would help- this bus came with the rv style windows that slide east/ west and has a cool character but i'm tired of being hunched over. also if anybody has advice about a heavy hitch- this bus is not cab and chassis. the front is a chevy van cab but the body is more of a unibody design. the rear frame seems to be part of the body. thanks rettjeper

thanks for the reply. i may not be standing up much in it but with my shaved head the knots and blood really show yes it may be wiser to sell and look- but for some reason this bus really appeals to me. the look and size seem to be just right and being a gm a deisel conversion is really doable. i looked and the fords probably are the way to go but the style of this little bus is cool. once again thanks to all. rjeeper

think about a newer big short bus that is tall enuff to standup in and shorten it up behind the rear wheels.
