Question Cut off short bus
We bought a short bus that was cut off after the third set of windows. We would like to add back on enough (approximately 4 ft) to make a bathroom. Any ideas where we could find the back body of a short bus?

Hmmm...got any pix? Sounds like you could weld up a square steel tube frame and rivet on more sheetmetal.

Short bus cutoff
We are trying to figure out whether we should cut the weld where they put the bus tailgate, add to the sides and then weld the bus back on. The other option is to leave the bus tailgate on and add about 4 more feet for the bathroom. You would go out the emergency exit to get to the bathroom.

It seems you got a bus thats missing a little bit.
I'd honestly sell it and get an unmodified bus before I tried to rebuild what's been chopped.
Or keep it and put a bed on the rear to haul stuff. Could strap an outhouse to it.
Or make it a 5th wheel hauler and use the restroom in the 5th wheel.

im more than happy to provide a second set of eyes.. and share skoolie info (i drive my bus all over almost like a daily driver so you can bet id drive it down)

im pretty new at this.. i had s bluebird previously that i pretty much did nothing with.. (lots of reasons.. long story).. then it got destroyed.. the destruction of it .. reincarnated my desire for a bus so I got another one.. and have a ball with it..

my conversion is minimal... my bus's main purpose for me is a mobile hardware / software dev lab and roadtripping machine... as well as an activity bus for my friends and I... so its not getting stoves and toilets and bedrooms.. my expertise is in climate control and mechanics..

I look forward to connecting!.
