E350 sealed headlight to Anzo crystal.

nuttin special but something i figured out on my own.
thought i would share?
i did have to change some pins around on the H4-H-5 harness converter.
but came out cool!

Do they still have hi/low beam function?

They must be significantly brighter than the original sealed beams, that would be a huge improvement.

i would reccomend getting rid of the extra connections that will corrode and solder the wires together. or dont drive at nite

yes the high/low does work correctly after i changed the pins around on the x-over.

i also thought of removing the extra connection but wanted to make sure everything was ok first?
i taped them up real good with electrical tape temporarily?

im not a big fan of hacking electrical OEM wiring LOL.
it took me weeks to de-fragment my bus wiring. get it all cleaned up, figured out and back to original condition. i even got a new bus radio/stereo that plugs right in to the Thomas harness.

i really like the modern look of these lights and the lighting was a improvement considering they are still halogen. i am baby stepping but will prob add LED later.

i dont drive much at night. im retired and not on a schedule LOL

those lights do look great... I have tried several versions of LED headlights on my busses.. and the only ones that dont spew light everywhere are the ones which are projector style... in your case it woudve been a direct swap to a 5x7 sealed-beam style that has a projector pattern in the new bulb... putting LED bulbs in regular housings seems to just spew light or results in less than halogen quality ... so im thinking if you keep these new housings you'll prob want to stay halogen..

That's a good looking upgrade. I too would ditch the adapter connector, or apply a heavy amount of dielectric grease to keep corrosion at bay. Some solder and heat shrink wrap wouldn't be hard to apply.

Then again, maybe you're in an area where rampant corrosion only occurs in your worst nightmare.

ya i forgot to mention i did slap a bunch of dielectric grease on everything before i taped it up. i will cut, solder & shrink everything nice and pretty later when i get a chance.

heater core just took a piss on my passenger floorboard in my 1978 Cheyanne.
got one coming from LMC & will start looking for you-tube videos.

always something.

ive put heater cores in those.. the whole top of the A/C box under the hood comes off and you can reach the heater core without tearing the dash apart

i just looked at a bunch of videos. it looks like it has to be removed from the inside under the dash because it wont come through the firewall? i think you may be thinking of the AC evaporator core? it looks to be about the same size and is under the hood.

its been a daily driver for 19 years! i put the round type of anzo headlights a few years back that are awesome! the crystal ones i put on the bus are nice but not as good. the bus lights were about 1/2 the cost. the anzo crystal i put on the bus were $165 and the anzo i put on the truck were $300 i think but was worth every penny!
