e450 Help.! please & thanks.

After just putting my transmission back in i forgot were the spring hooks up to been trying to find out were on the internet for awhile now it is time to ask someone who has the same vehicle. Can someone kindly show me what two point the spring attaches.? It goes by the drive shaft & transmission meet. Thanks.

Maybe it holds up the E-brake cable? Like hooks over the cable and then hooks into a hole on the frame?

I dunno...

looks like it might be a parking brake shoe return spring.. theres usually a spring that pulls the shoes together on a drum type brake..

I dont know mich about that type of brake but it surely looks like a drum brake spring.. might want to see if you can find an exploded diagram of the park brake assembly.

years ago i rebuilt an A/C compressor for a scout.. after I got done I was proud and ready to start it up.. and I noticed a little spring, a couple of screws, and a little piece of metal on the bench... I had NO IDEA where they came from.. but I thought WTF , put the belt on, charged it up and as far as I know that compressor is still making ICE COLD air....

I know this is apples and oranges here but I mess around with mopeds A LOT and once in a while I have some spring, clip, or fastener leftover. Its a horrible feeling!
Just relax and maybe take a break from it for a while and come back at it fresh later on.
