dude that looks great!! slap a coat of paint on that bus before the tiny home show and you'll get good coin for it, either that or you'll decide you want to keep it.. then we can swap a allison 2000 into it, some A/C(hey any bus I work on always gets AC'd) and make it a runner / keeper!

Pulled the right side entry door and fixed the rust on the bottom of it. Also greased the bushings and added a washer to account for the years of opening and closing.
Door always opened and closed with the switch just fine, but was slow to open, so got that fixed today. Door is working GREAT!

Was that outside surface rust or rust originating from the inside between the sheet metal panels.
I have had very bad luck with slowing down rust without separating the panels, cleaning the areas and putting it back together. Esspecially wheel wells.

The lower part below the panels that holds the rubber at the bottom of the door.
The door frames and skins were fine.
Stuck a screw and washer in the middle of each side of the rubber to prevent sagging and used a bit of glue. The glue made a little bit of a mess, but overall I'm happy with how it came out.

Their only issue getting home was a loose interlock button on the back door. Bus started buzzing and wouldn't start when they stopped. Easy fix, everyones safe and happy!

Thanks guys. Yeah, these guys seemed like real nice people for sure.
I took em for a pedal to the metal run through the country to show em its a solid lil runner!
I'll miss these buses and will someday have another. This shorty was hard to part with.

CONGRATS, Sunshine, as well as to Mark and mark. 10 % has got to be a welcomed gift for any friend. You must be a great friend. I can't wait to see what you're going to present us next, but know it's gonna be a fun ride.

10% was just a rough estimate... We're lucky enough to have sold some other belongings, so we're hooking him up this week!
I love Eddie. I love all my friends... I try to treat my friends like they're family.
Gona shoot Ed a GoFundMe donation just to get his page activity going again, but the bulk of it I'll just take over to him in person. So far I've got nearly $700 for him!
Thanks for all the kindness and support you folks have shown!!!
I'm going in this morning to get an exam. This thing with Eddie has me worried. Before he found out he had cancer, he just thought he had some digestive issues and maybe a hemorrhoid. The doctor he was seeing treated his "hemorrhoid" for over a year till another doc discovered it was in fact a tumor. I worked with Eddie for a long time, and in that place there is an abundance of horrible cancer causing stuff. FL has NO workplace safety enforcement, so companies literally treat their employees like disposable human tools. I was let go for being a whistleblower. They are returning the exhaust from all their machines unfiltered and into the work area. Hexavalent Chromium 6 is very prevalent. They dump the dust from their plasma dept into the edge of the employee parking area. Needless to say, SEVERAL employees have died of aggressive, nasty cancer.
I have a lot of symptoms that eddie had/has and I worked 15 feet from the guy, so I'm going in for a preliminary exam and will be getting a colonoscopy next month.

We already found an upgrade/replacement. We lost 4" of headroom and the air ride, but I think this was TOTALLY worth it!
