Front hitch

Has anyone put a front hitch on the front of their short bus. We have a 2003 Chevrolet Express 3500 - I bought a front hitch to bolt on and it was too wide for our frame on the bus (about 2 inches too wide). Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. If you did, did you put on a custom one?

I bought a front hitch for my 1997 ford e350 shuttle bus from amazon and it fits perfectly. I use it to carry my spare tire. If you bought a hitch that's is labeled to fit your make and model then it should fit.

I agree - but it doesn't. Was wondering if anyone else with the 2003 Express 3500 had same issue.
