Go resource for seating

Hey everyone, haven't been on here for awhile, working on the new beast. I bought a 2007 E450 Eldorado 240, basically it's a retired Broward county transit bus. But it's got a 6.0 PS with 122k , so far so good! What I'm wondering is, has anyone found a good resource for the used seating? I looked on line at the prices of new Freedman Seating, the prices are outrageous, so I'm guessing there has to be a market for used one's. Especially since I have a full set, with all the hardware. I also have a wheelchair lift and and interlock system that are both in great shape. I just never did figure out what I was doing wrong to get it to work. Maybe Broward county, disables them for legal reasons or something before they auction them off.

Anyway, any suggestions would be wonderful, and please let me know if I can help anyone out with my limited knowledge, but it's growing..

Steak is expensive too. And holds not much value used. And I've yet to read a post of someone that bought an empty bus + wanted to start hauling people.
Sorry. Its how it is. I hate throwing things away too.

I recall a few people here calling up veteran/senior centers in their area to come and pick them up. Check with a few locations around you, see if there's any interest. If you're looking for $ from it, you might be able to get a valued receipt from them to help deduct it from next year's taxes. In some cases, a good condition lift may help you recover 1/3-1/2 of the initial cost of your skoolie

Good Luck

So, I just wanted to update everyone, that there is still a market for seating, whether a full set or individual pieces. I sold my complete set for a really good price.
