Well I ended up mowing a bit. Man, the heat is just relentless.
Got a Glasgow Celtic game on at 2:45, so I'm gonna run a few errands and park my ass in my chair after about 2.

We have a lot more humidty. On the "feels like" map you're in the 80's zone and we're in the 100's.
If I'm complaining- its HOT!

What weather service are you using?

Overall I would agree with you but your (apopka) 10 day forecast and mine on Weather Underground match both in temps and humidity levels.

Ah, your temps are stuck at 90°. Last week and up to this coming Fri, we've been hitting 90°. The lowest the humidity has been is 60%.

We're at 94. The "feels like" is 102.
https://www.wunderground.com/weather...unt-dora/32757

You're at 89 with a "feels like" of 93.

Pretty hot for the region.

The rain has backed off and now the grass is just burning in the hot sun.
My yard all look good, as I know how to NOT scalp a lawn. The folks with push mowers and the obsessive types of homeowners are losing their lawns this week due to over-mowing.
IDK why folks argue so much about the height of their grass. I tell them what heights are appropriate for whatever types of lawn but some insist I mow it with the deck dragging along the ground. UGH.

If the location is active it updates once a minute. Refreshing dropped it back to 96°. Bust out the parkas, there's a cold front rolling thru town!!

I also like that you can change the observation station if you're half way across town or something.

That was directed at the weather service.

I'm not sure which station to believe. That one is RIGHT on the water (Chesapeake Bay). There's another nearby that's 4° higher but it's also higher than the other ones that are a tad "inland".

No rain in the forecast for today so no near misses with the T-storms. At least they cool things off for awhile. I need one of those big barrel fans but I ain't parting with $400. Need to find a real salvage yard. Get a dryer motor and a big old attic fan blade and make my own.

HEY!!! Don't walk so close to that. It ain't exactly stable and that guard is just for show.

Still too hot, rainy, and busy to get anything done with either of the buses.

But I'm now a FL MMJ patient.

Took a few Dr visits but was totally worth it.

Does that mean you have to buy retail products?

I'm stoked. This should make traveling around FL much less stressful.
And my IBS symptoms will be much easier to control with 400mg via tincture per day.
