Re: International Shorty Party Bus
The inside of the bus is about done, and I am starting on the outside. I started preping for paint by using a da sander, but this is going to take forever. Anyone have any other ideas?

I'm about a week behind you. Have you picked a paint your using? I'm thinking Rustoleum.

Re: International Shorty Party Bus
I just got all the paint yesterday. I am using a non-sanding primer sealer, Chrome Yellow acrylic enamel for the main paint, and Gun Metal Grey Metallic for the graphics. It will still somewhat resemble a school bus, but with much more color and bling. Sanding the outside of the bus for paint has been a real pain in the ass! All the paint cost $400 shipped, and a friend is doing the painting, so not too bad.

Re: International Shorty Party Bus
Very cool!! I like the hood scoop, makes it look tough. Your wheels came out great. All you need now is a fat chrome stovepipe exhaust up the side...bad asss!! That yellow really pops. Great job.

Re: International Shorty Party Bus
They are polished stainless wheel simulators from http://www.realwheels.com. They were $750 for the set of 4, but I think they make the bus. They were made specifically for 22.5" dayton five spoke wheels.

Re: International Shorty Party Bus
Your bus is incredibly creative!!! I just bought a 1999 International 3400 and am studying the internet to learn how to do my own upholstry and interior...right at the point of giving up, you give me newfound inspiration!
here's some pics:

Re: International Shorty Party Bus
I like it... I have almost the same bus, but it's a bluebird. I am trying to find lights for LED lighting for the interior. Thats my planning part that needs done yet. I have my el;ectrical plans finished and purrchased most of the supplies, just need to get back to work on it...
