Re: My new Diamond built e350

yea, just right place right time. wifey was the dispatcher for the company and had first crack at it when they got new obama money buses. long story short, 4-5 months later, lost funding, had to shut down. company had to liquidate assets. good news- we got a screamin bus for a benjamin. bad news- she lost her job two days before christmas. every silver lining has a black cloud, no?

Re: My new Diamond built e350

does anyone have pictures of a bed frame in progress? we are mounting a queen size mattress across the back and im wondering if im doing it right.(not a carpenter) what i have so far is a 60 by 80 in frame, made of 2x6 treated wood,(the stuff they make docks out of) with 2x4 cross members. need about 16 or 17 inches of clearance underneath. the mattress will drop in snugly, and sit down about 4 inches or so. has anyone done anything like this? would love to see pics, diagrams,,,

Re: My new Diamond built e350

cool, im not sure where everything is gonna go as yet but its gonna be soon. i guess the smart thing would be to have a cabinet or counter over it with an opening for the heat to come out, or turn it so the heat shoots back toward the bed.

built the bed frame out of lumber i found laying around. used the aisle side seat brackets for feet. net cost,, zero dollars. im probably gonna have to shell out a couple bucks for sandpaper, damn. have some walnut stain. got a new queen size matress for 40$ (know someone who has a bedding store) score.

Re: My new Diamond built e350

just curious, is there a sight similar to this one, dedicated to this particular kind of bus? is it a transit bus? any way, this sight is great. just wondering if theres one more bus specific. jeff
