Well she's doing better now and back to work taking care of patients again! Things are halfway back to normal! We loaded up the whole family lasnight and headed to state park to dump the tanks. After that we stopped for supper and kids love the table and the new LED lights I installed above the seats! They are dimmable and have usb port built into them. Pretty slick! Merry Christmas all and Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas!
Well it is supposed to get down to 12 degrees here tonight in Kansas. I haven't re-winterized the bus since my wife stayed in it because we're taking it to my family's Christmas this weekend. After my wife stayed in it for over a week with the heater going, I found out the tape didn't hold up covering the two extra round holes I didn't use. So I made a piece out of some Galvanized sheet metal I had today and screwed it on and taped the seams with the foil tape. This should hold and last! It doesnt look too pretty, but I wanted to get it done without tearing everything apart.
I also took some pictures of the dimmable touch LED lights with usb port i mounted on the cabinets above the seats. They are from Amazon. So far they are working great!
Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas to you and your family! Do you have a link to those lights? Those are great and I see, from the sticker visible in the photo, that they work on 24v as well. I just spent about 5 minutes looking on Amazon and I see similar lights...and most in silver...but not that dimmable black 12-24v version. That's a good find!

I wanted the black dimmable and you're right, they were hard to find. I'm really glad I got the dimmable flex head. We can take the one by the front door, dim it down all the way and it's a perfect night light for the stairs/doorway.
Well it looks like the ones we ordered are currently unavailable... Here's a link:

I found this one which looks very similar to what I ordered. You might check it out and see if it will work for you!

Catching up after months of absence. So glad to hear your wife is OK. Thanks to her & everyone else like her for manning the front lines! Guess a skoolie is a great thing to have in such eventualities. Not many people have personal, mobile quarantine rooms.
Everything about your bus is so unique & creative. So much more than what appears on the surface. Glancing at your profile pick I'm thinking "meh", then digging through your thread that changes to "wow!". Excellent work!

Well nothing new to report on the bus... We have been having record low temps here in Kansas or what seems to be record low temps to me! So I haven't been out to finish off the trim inside. When we thaw out and I de-winterize the bus I guess I will find out two things:
If I designed my plumbing system correctly so I could winterize it correctly...
And if I actually winterized it correctly!
This is first season I had plumbing done to winterize and we have been below freezing for week or more now! This weekend will be highs of around 0 degrees F! I know that's normal for some of you folks, but not normal for here in Kansas for this long!
Hope everyone is staying warm!

Yes ,it is interesting how the weather fluctuates now that the balance is disturbed...here in PA snow is back for much longer time then I can remember....next year for sure I want to travel to the south West.. arthritis is getting a hold of me and this cold does not help.

I can't imagine how cold it is up North there in PA if we're having this cold of weather in Kansas! Sorry to hear about the arthritis. That doesn't sound good at all.

I was wondering what happened to you FROCHEVY? Yeah I still haven’t pressurized my tanks. Good thing, it will be below freezing here for a couple of days. No water in the plumbing. This is fairly common,Our winter is usually like January and February. Stay warm!!
