Valves for cabin heater. This well make it easier to remove or relocate heater.

This is what the front roof trim looked like. Cleaned it out and used Sikaflex #221 as recommended by ElDorado.

Tried to use a Spatula (black) to left trim but the trim was too brittle and started to crack. I had to settle for a thin bead along the edge which I will re-coat 2 more times.

Got this from the Sika store on Amazon. there was shipping charge but still better price and less likely to be dry.

Similar issue on my bus. I thought about doing it your way but there were too many cracks on the surface of the seam material. I used a sharp chisel to shear the whole seam material off off, then filled the gap with sikaflex (or equivalent), letting it cure, then screwed a piece of aluminum transition over the joint with enough sikaflex to squirt out the sides. It's a pretty clean look, so if your first efforts still give you trouble, don't be too afraid taking a more invasive approach.

While the seam was exposed I also sanded the fiberglass down to a clean white surface so I can wax it in the spring.

Thank you Rucker!

Would you happen to have some pictures of how it looks? I may need to apply the same technic somewhere else.

I already ordered this tape for the roof: Quick Roof Extreme.

Found more leaks. The rubber grommets (all 6) are larger than the openings. The very little caulking was of no help, and probably have been leaking from day one.

Removed some of the old caulking above and around the windshield.
Sanded some scratches and 2 small surface rust spots. Also, removed trim around windshield, cleaned all around it and primed everything. Windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced.
