You're sure making excellent time. You must have the ability to resist those road side attractions somehow.

I haven't seen a duck since highschool.

Did a little around Lake Isabella. Just a few hill climbs and trails. Keeping it light cause the Jeep has to drive in the hill country. Bus pulls great up the steepest slopes by itself.

Stopped in Ely Nevada tonight. Might be a place i frequent when i retire.
Forgot to mention I meet a funny guy, Jimmy, in Lake Isabella. He like filming interesting campers and also has some videos about stealth camping. He's a character.

if you happen to get up into utah man is there some beautiful country around arches national park.. while its toned down alot from when I was a kid, theres still some fun scenic wheeling trails that arent heavy duty.. (we did elephant hill years ago.. that was pretty tough stuff for a LWB scout.)..

great idea to drive the jeep in the mountains.. keep the wear and tear off of the bus.

Had to replace a freeze plug on the daughters jeep...in a grocery store parking lot. Bus doing great. Valve covers leaking a bit, steering box leaking...everything else great.
Second picture is 140 miles east in Echo canyon Utah.

You guys are in Kansas already huh. We are trying to figure out where to go next but I don't think we are going back to Kansas.

No one likes driving through KS, so it seems.
