Putter's Bus
Finally got around to taking pics after injector pump and injectors were installed. My father-in-law is great to have around, can help fix anything.
89 Thomas 7.3 diesel Room behind drivers seat is 7'6" by 15'6". Going to be fun laying it out. I do like the Cockabus layout, been looking at it since I joined.
All suggestions are appreciated and welcomed. Putter out

Re: Putter's Bus
Has anybody here in the forums had any problems with people while traveling looking backwards in the bus at a tv or entertainment center?
I know some people get car sick and such. Thinking of putting cabinet at rear of bus with tv,stero, speakers, and some storage. Also putting battery bank and inverter below as it can be gotten to inside or by opening the rear door. Generator will be located on a rear deck or underneath. Keeps alot of wiring to a minimum. Cabinet will go from side to side.

Re: Putter's Bus
Neat bus. I would cut the top off of it and jack it up about a foot I think a bus that size would make for a very useful conversion.

Re: Putter's Bus
Is there really a need to keep the 2 support poles in the entry way of the bus? I have seen pics both ways, opinions anyone?

Re: Putter's Bus
you only need one pole for every 3 dancers/strippers , actually they are for handholds/supports for the passengers and not structurally required.

I've been thinking of leaving the pole on the passenger side, but not the driver's side. I feel like if someone walks up to the front while you're on the road, they should have something to hang on to. I may even leave both in if they are not in the way. But at least one will probably remain. Depends on how my floorplan pans out.

Re: Putter's Bus
I want to put in a captains chair for a drivers seat so I need at least the drivers side to be out of the way.

Re: Putter's Bus
I need a little advice. I am going to use this bus for the races and a few games. Is it worth the expense of taking side panels off and insulating or not. Will have a rooftop a/c, so I want to keep it cool or warm. Getting ready for some interior work as it rains every few days right now. Wish me luck.
