Radiant heated floor?

Has anyone added radiant heat to their floor, either warming mats or hot water tubing? I’m just getting ready to lay my insulation and starting to think about this option. Curious to hear other’s experiences. Thanks.

Quite a few have done it. YouTube has some info on it. I was thinking about it, but in the end I decided against it for a few reasons. You will need to be able to sacrifice 4-6 inches of floor height to do it right. The additional cost is quite a bit more than just insulating. If you are not going full time, I don't think the benefit of radiant floor is worth the time and money invested. I am planning about half of the year in the bus, but I will be chasing warm weather! If the furnace needs to run, it's time to find a warmer climate!!!
