It would be tough to let go, but having another bus we like even more sure helps. Gona think on it for a day or so.
He's not had a bus of his own and I think he's really enjoy it. He's even talked to a mechanic he went to HS with and can get it fixed.

Too many projects, too little time.
If he has the time, money, and patience to deal with it. Make sure he understands you aren't implying any warranty. He gets it torn apart and it needs a new everything, it's his problem. Selling to friends can be problematic.

He knows the bus as well as I do and is fully aware of its flaws.
We've got a local diesel tech working on our stuff now. He's reasonable and does a great job. I knew if I left the bus there long enough he'd want it. He's driven all my buses and this one has always been his favorite.

Hoping this goes through and we have our bus painted by the end of Feb.
New build thread to come.

That sounds like a great opportunity for you and Shaun knows exactly what he's getting into.

Yeah. the way he likes to accessorize and customize vehicles I've been wondering when he'd finally buy a bus.
I doubt it will be his last. He REALLY likes driving them. I am taking a good financial loss selling it well below what I paid. But then- Shaun goes and gets buses for me. That's what I call a friend!
I hadn't actually tried to sell it to him but he heard me talking about listing it and decided he'd go for first refusal. I won't refuse!

Went and talked to Shaun. It was Chris' Redbyrd bus that set it off. He wants to do it up like that one. I'm ALL for it!

I've got the push bar/grille guard off Stacey. And some wheels and tires.
Giving them to the friend who just bought the 07.

I want a Caprice PPV.

If you can get your hands on an intact 94-96 caprice 9C1 car, those are fun , as they had nicely tuned LT1 engines .. they are hard to find as many were used for hotrods drivetrain harvests.. myself included harvested a 4L60e trans and LT1 motor out of one for a hotrod I built. Plus they haven’t made the. Since 96 or 97. Now if you are going for the new caprice model , they seemed to never take off much , I’ve never seen one in the wild. The depts here all went after the cheaper FWD impala instead of the newer caprice .. I understand it’s price point was way too high. And of course now it’s all chargers for the stories and explorers / Taurus for cities.. Columbus is going to almost exclusively AWD explorers..

"caprice"???? It's not sold as such is it? It was discontinued. Haven't paid attention to Chevy in a long time. I know they brought the Camero back after a short time-out.

There are always a couple NICE newer caprice ppv's on the auction sites. They go for about 7-12 grand. My cousin is a deputy somewhere near Canton and he said they have a couple PPV's. He grew up hot rodding and says the ppv is AMAZING to drive.
