So- after asking the idiots at the school SEVERAL times if everything was good for picking the bus up, somehow they now need my ID to release the bus. Unreal.
I'm getting texts from Shaun AND Nicole that the staff at the school are more than rude and that its getting awkward.
The intelligence of these people working for the schools never ceases to amaze me.
I sent them a digital pic of my ID, hope that's good enough because I don't have a scanner available.
What a bunch of jerks over there!

Temp power of attorney for one or both of them would fix the problem. May be able to get one expedited thru a local law office for under $100. That would likely work?

Maybe, IDK sure would suck to have to go to all that trouble. I'd asked them both on the phone and by email if they needed anything else from me and even sent them the name of the friend who's picking it up. Thanks for the idea though, lets hope it doesn't come to that!

Nice bus but higher in miles and needs some work. Also has a DOG of a transmission, IMO.
I did put a $1800 bid on it once last time it was listed, just for sport.
But if I'm paying Crown price, I want that 855 with a ten speed and OD.

55mph at 2000 rpm is what they're saying.
Now to get my hands on some bigger tires and get that top speed raised in the computer.
Should be GOOD TO GO. Its reported to have good acceleration and drives nice and tight.

You're definitely the mileage king!
I'm gonna definitely be driving this shorty a lot, too. Gonna paint it fancy with some single stage acrylic, put some bigger tires on there, and the front wheels are going to get replaced with something like this-

Gonna shop around for some nice used ones, but I'll buy em new if I have to. It'll really make the new paint job look great. That, the duck, and a chrome bumper will really make it snazzy! Some trucker girl flaps and a big chrome exhaust will round out the rear nicely.

my single stage urethane paint that DEV has seems to hold up better than the fancy 2 stage red paint on Redbyrd.
