Must say that is a bummer to have sold what they do not have though. Not good stock management.
They responded with my request to replace it with something similar with "We dont know the specs". LOL

I used paypal. Worst case scenario I get my money back. I'm trying to get them to send me ANYthing comparable but I don't think they give a crap.

Try getting an ac unit or a decent answer/resolution from them.

Good to know that they DO in fact ship people products at times, though. lol

They emailed me back this morning. They said they can have one in tomorrow in white. I'd only ordered the black one cause it was $20 cheaper. I said "send it please!". LOL why wouldn't they just offer that to begin with?

Good News!! Glad to hear!

Still frustrating when you either get the run-around or have to deal with folks who are supposed to be knowledgeable but aren't!

They're sending the same unit I'd ordered but in white. Said it will ship out tomorrow.

like who really cares about the color of the plastic shroud?

I've got two 16ga panels prepped and ready to install the ac. The outside panel will just perfectly fit into the spot where the hatch was and has a 14" square already cut in center.
I've got another for the inside cut the same. But 16ga is way overkill. IDK how easily this is going to mount, but once this is all installed it should be rock solid.

Will run some romex down through the ceiling to the conduit and down to the outside bottom corner of the bus.

you will have to cut wood blocks to fit the gap between the inner and outer panels, the AC unit mounts with a clamp arrangement that will try to pull the 2 panels together

This shot is oriented from the front to the rear of the bus

The piece in the foreground that is arched on top bolts to the hat channel nestled along the skin of the roof ... same in the back.

I started a FB group called "Roll Your Own".
Figured its easier to share stuff and plan get-togethers over on FB.

I've been thinking what would the best coating be for the galvanized floors once we get them fully prepped.
Epoxy coatings designed for steel floors!

Self etching primer for the steel, some genuine 3m masking tape, and a few tubes of seam sealer ordered.
Starting to feel the excitement of getting this ac project underway.

Fedex just dropped off the AC unit! They sent the inside unit at the same time so I got em both.

Now just waiting on some primer, seam sealer, and paint to proceed.
