Thanks for the help painting. Getting that done felt awesome. I took a break from house stuff long enough to make that vid and had to run back to town for more errands.
Got the house listed. Well, the listing starts tomorrow.

We hope if we have a bit of cash and devote all our energy to it we can have it livable this year.
The inside is just as dirty as the outside!
At least for now the name shall be Dirty Bird! lol

That Wanderlodge is awesome. Don't forget to reinforce the roof so you're not crushed in a rollover!

I know- right???
With no steel headliner and only half the ribs I'm totally scared to drive it!

Went up on the roof yesterday. That full length deck is cool!

Are you going to sell your speed demon shortie for the $20K it would probably get right now?

Hot damn! That Wanderlodge is a sexy find! Even with a coating of filth So cool

On a tangentially related note, if anyone in Ontario is looking for a similar one (though in poorer shape) there is one for sale in an RV park around Massey.

Honestly we plan to just keep it. Its pretty much as good as it gets for what it is.
But IDK- if someone came to me with 20k and wanted it I'd have to consider it!

thanks- yeah they are pretty cool old coaches.
Oh wow- I'd love to see what that one look like!

I kinda figured this one was maybe the roughest around.

I think it will clean up pretty nice, but man theres a LOT of filth! I think the ceilings are going to be totally replaced and I'll probably end up going into some walls just to check stuff out... we'll see.
The main focus is getting all the basic rv systems up and running 100% and I'm going to get someone who knows what they're doing to come do a thorough check up on the entire propane system.
The wiring and electrical and apparently kind flaky so I'll definitely be farming out most of that work.

the neighbor is bringing over his diesel powered industrial power washer and we're going to clean and steam clean the whole thing when we get the time. Then we're going to aggressively start cleaning out the entirety of the inside.

Getting the ac units replaced is high on my priority list. I really want to retain the basic factory setup with the 3 basement ac units. Dometic sells replacement units and I've got access to a small tractor with a fork attachment.
I feel like once I get this project moving and throw some $$ at the worst stuff I can't/won't do then its going to be awesome.
I guess I feel better rebuilding a coach than converting one. Probably a very similar amount of time and money when all said and done though.

Not much bus stuff to report, been busy with other stuff as usual.

We have an offer on the house- waiting to hear back from our realtor in negotiations.

And we have a baby on the way now! Roxy's at the end of the 1st trimester and its going great so far. Wish us luck, we've got a lot going on!

Thanks man!
Well he or she will have house, on land. But we've got a shorty for weekend/day trips and the Wanderlodge is going to be the family adventure yacht.
At least that's the plan for now.
My folks have a huge house on 6 or 7 acres so we're going to initially move there and take our time. Sorta been planning this as a family for the last couple years but now all the pieces are in place.
